Silencers
Silencers are essential components in industrial environments where ventilation and airflow are necessary, but where noise pollution must be limited. Our silencers provide effective sound reduction at air inlets and outlets of machines, ventilation systems, and other industrial installations, making the working environment significantly quieter and more pleasant.
Why choose silencers?
Our silencers are designed for maximum sound reduction with minimal resistance and are tailored to the specific requirements of each application. With a wide range of options and configurations, we can provide solutions that are customized for both natural and forced ventilation systems in various environments.
Types of silencers
Slotted silencers: These silencers, also known as slot silencers, are used in rectangular air ducts. They feature vertical baffles that absorb sound and minimize air resistance. Slotted silencers are ideal for situations with limited space and provide effective sound attenuation without compromising airflow.
Cylindrical silencers: Specially designed for round ducts and applications such as fans and cooling towers. These silencers can be constructed with or without an absorbing core for additional attenuation and can be easily integrated into existing ventilation systems.
Exhaust silencers: For installations with exhaust gases, such as diesel and gas engines, exhaust silencers offer an effective solution for noise reduction. These silencers are typically equipped with resonator chambers to dampen disruptive frequencies and provide broad sound attenuation for industrial applications.
Advantages of our silencers
- Custom configuration: Our silencers are specifically tailored to your ventilation system, with an optimal balance between noise reduction and air resistance.
- Durable and low maintenance: Made from high-quality materials and designed for long-lasting use in demanding industrial environments.
- Flexible installation: Available as separate components or fully assembled and integrated into your ventilation or exhaust system.
The process
We have various calculation programs, laboratory and practical measurements to find the most suitable silencer for you.
Analysis and inventory
We start with a thorough inventory of your situation, usually based on a report from an occupational health service, environmental service, or an acoustic consulting firm. This report describes the sound source and any exceedances of the standards. If necessary, we carry out additional sound measurements to gain a clear understanding of the requirements.
Configuration and design
In consultation with you, we will prepare a detailed 'specification plan' outlining all technical and acoustic requirements for the products. Based on this, a tailored solution will be designed that fully meets the specific needs of your noise nuisance.
Custom production
After the design, we start with the production of the chosen solution, using high-quality materials for optimal sound insulation and durability. Each solution is produced with precision to meet the specified requirements.
Delivery and assembly
The solution is provided fully equipped, including all necessary materials and accessories. Our specialised technicians can, if desired, provide expert installation to ensure the placement goes smoothly. If needed, vertical transport with a (truck-mounted) crane can also be arranged, so you are completely relieved of any burdens during the installation process.
