Delivery of silencers in the Botlek
On behalf of Atlas Copco Compressors Netherlands, dB Noise Control has provided a solution for a noise issue in Botlek, an important industrial area. The project included the delivery of 8 silencers, including 45° rain hoods, for the air supply of filter housings in a compressor application.
Our solution
The silencers were made of high-quality stainless steel 304, specially selected for their durability and suitability for industrial applications. These dampers are designed to significantly reduce the noise levels of the compressor while perfectly fitting into the existing filter housings.
Fast turnaround time
Within just 3.5 weeks after the first contact with the customer, the silencers were:
- Technically tailored to the specific situation.
- Designed and developed.
- Produced and delivered to the customer.
Result
With the new silencers, the noise level of the compression process has been effectively reduced, thereby meeting the set requirements. This not only contributes to a better acoustic environment but also to a more efficient operation of the system.
