TenneT, the grid operator responsible for expanding the electricity infrastructure in the Netherlands, plays a crucial role in the energy transition. For Station Westerlee, an important link in this network, dB Noise Control provided a customised solution on behalf of Mourik Services to minimise the noise impact in the transformer rooms.
Delivered quickly and efficiently
In just 8 weeks we have:
- Optimised the design in collaboration with the client.
- Received the assignment and worked out the technical details.
- Produced components and drawn up safety and work plans.
- Installed 600 m² of industrial acoustic wall panels in three separate transformer rooms.
Challenge and result
The short lead time required a practical approach, clear communication, and close cooperation with both the client and suppliers. Thanks to our efficient working methods and expertise in noise control, the project was successfully completed, resulting in a significant reduction in noise disturbance and optimal functionality of the transformer rooms.
